You can put a different picture on each table as the centerpiece. Whatever your color scheme or theme is, use picture frames to match. If you’re using a sports theme, you can take wallet sized pictures of the father and use sports teddy bears (dressed in a sports jersey or a teddy bear with a helmet, etc.) to hold the picture, and that can be your centerpiece.

You can also make a collage with pics of both parents. Hang it on the wall behind the head table, or put it on an easel. Use the collage in a game and see if the guests can tell how many months the parents are in each picture.
