I make diaper cakes professionally and there are a lot of great videos on Youtube that can tell you how to do one yourself. Diapers are a great gift for the new parents and making a diaper cake would be a lot of fun for you and the guests would love it!

Another idea is to find an inexpensive photographer in their area and maybe purchase a gift card they can put towards newborn/infant photography. New parents love professional photographs of their children!

Gift cards to local restaurants are also a great idea and they will be most welcomed during those first few weeks after baby is home!

I know diapers doesn’t seem like a creative gift idea. But a box of diapers is the most practical, economical and useful gift there is. No matter how many they already have, they will always need more.
