I was wondering should I give my sister-in-law a baby shower if her work is planning to give her one?

You should absolutely throw your sister in law a baby shower. Even though her office is throwing her one they will only be inviting the staff. By you trowing one you will be able to invite all her close family and friends. I am sure she would love that and it would mean so much more to her. Plus the more the gifts the better for and the less she has to deal with. Be sure to send the invitations at least 6 weeks in advance so you will give the guests enough time to clear their schedule and also not have another event to attend.

Even though she is already getting a shower at work, it would be nice for her to be able to have a shower with her family members and closest friends too. People have multiple showers all the time and that is perfectly fine. If you invite the co-workers to the shower you will have for her, they should understand that gifts would not be necessary from them, because they will most likely give her gifts at work.
