Should I invite my co-worker

One of my co-workers had a miscarriage a few months ago. She is obviously still pretty down about it. I want to invite her to my baby shower, but I’m not sure if I should. And I don’t want to invite all of my co-workers except for her. What should I do?

This is a really touchy issue. I would definitely invite her because you don't want her to feel left out. After you give her the invitation, talk to her in private or send her a note explaining your concerns. Let her know that you will understand if she doesn't want to come, but that you didn't want to be rude by not inviting her.
