Long Distance Baby Shower

My daughter lives in California and we live in rhode island and she is having a baby this summer. I am not sure if she will be able to come for a shower in RI so I don't know what I can do?? Any suggestions??

There are a few things you can do

Is your entire family except for your daughter in RI? If this is the case, your family should take a little trip to California if you can. I think this is the easiest solution. You could even wait until after the baby is born to eliminate 2 trips.

If you guys cannot travel, then have a traditional long distance shower. Basically, you would have a shower for her, but without her there. You would record everything, and send her the recording, all the gifts, and everything else from the shower to her.

Or, you could just send pregnancy announcements to everyone along with your daughter's registry, and request that people purchase online and send the gifts directly to her.
