Easy and cute homemade baby cake

Can someone give me ideas for making a homemade cake for a shower? I want it to be cute but it can't be that diffcuilt to make.I dont just want a basic sheet cake. I dont care about flavours it more about decorating the cake.

 Use a cake decorating kit

Hi Parker,

If you go to an arts and crafts store, you can find different cake decorating kits that are affordable and easy to use.

You can use boxed cake mix which will require less work, and use a shaped cake pan so the cake will go with your theme. The shaped pans come in the shapes of cartoon characters, animals, etc.

After you bake the cake, use the decorating kit to do everything else. Most kits come with candies, icing tubes, and complete instructions on how to use them.
