Baby shower superstitions

At a bridal shower, for every ribbon you break, you will have one baby. Is there a similar superstition for baby showers?

Hi Pat,

This is a very excellent question. Personally, I have never heard of any type of baby shower superstition. I do know that some cultures do not celebrate new babies until after they are born. But I think this is more of a spiritual belief rather than a superstition.
