More tips for a brunch baby shower menu:

*Select some easy prep or semi-homemade foods:
If your shower is going to be during brunch time, almost everything
needs to be in place the night before. Some of your foods may have to
be prepared the day of the shower, but there are many items that can be
store-bought or prepared ahead of time.

*Serve mainly breakfast items:
A lot of your guests will probably snack on something before they come
to the shower, but they will definitely want to fill their stomachs
sometime during the event. And since it’s still early in the day, I
would suggest having lots of breakfast foods and drinks.

*Don’t serve too much junk food:
It’s perfectly fine to have some sweet stuff like cinnamon rolls or
French toast with syrup. But remember, it’s still early in the day, and
most people don’t like to start their day out with chips and candy. So
instead of having little bowls of candy for the guests to nibble on,
try having fresh fruits or muffins instead.

*If you serve coffee and tea, have some decaf and a sugar
substitue on hand for the guests who are watching their caffeine and
sugar intakes.

*Have a variety of meats, such as pork and turkey bacon, as
some people do not eat certain kinds of meat.

*Offer vegetarian side dishes in case some of your guests do
not eat meat.
