Baby shower gift reactions

I hope I can explain this well enough so someone can understand what I'm looking for.

A while back I attended a coed baby shower. At the time when mommy and daddy to be were opening all of the presents a friend of the family was writing down their reactions to each gift, i.e., "Oh how cute", "Look how tiny that is" etc. When they were all finished the friend read back their reactions but added some kind of story to go along with each "reaction". It was so hilarious people were crying from laughing so hard.

I cannot remember the story that went along with it and am hoping that someone can help. I have tried to search the internet, but I don't know exactly how to describe it well enough to get any good hits. Does this familiar to anyone?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
