Baby shower books instead of cards

We are going to do this for my daugther's shower.

On the invitation, ask the guests to bring a book instead of a gretting card and sign the inside cover as the card. It's a very cute poem. (see below). So, at the shower the mommy-to-be will receive lots of books for her baby instead of cards with her gifts.

poem example-

Instead of a card, please let (name) look,
At your special choice of a book,
And then to baby she will read
With all the love a newborn will need.
So with a personal touch, please choose a book
And in it then your name do put.
It need not cost more than a card
Just pick a favorite, it shouldn't be hard.
