Attending baby shower for the first time

I would like to purchase a stroller for my friend's baby. Should I mail it to her house?

Assemble stroller

Something that was done for me at my first and only baby shower was that my mother-in-law assembled the stroller and placed a nice big bow on it. It served as a great display for the baby shower party as well. Having the stroller already assembled made my job so much easier later.
